Subtitle: Medical Controversies
Guest speakers will consider topics in medical practice
about which there may be strong differences of opinion
in the field. The course will consist of a series of
speakers who are leaders in their field. Students will
be expected to prepare for each session by reading a
small number of papers selected from relevant research
literature. Attendance at all sessions is required,
and near the end of the quarter, each student will
select a topic that is related to the talks they have
heard, do a literature search, and write a short paper
discussing their selected topic.
