Availability and enrollment management for these
affiliated courses is dependent upon the Department or
Program offering the course.
ADD/DROP PROCEDURES FOR THE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
All requests to enroll in a full section are processed
by the automated waitlist. Students who would like to add or change into full
sections MUST use the automated waitlist procedure,
waitlist themselves in their desired section, and
attend all lecture and sections for the first week.
Contacting the instructor for enrollment will not
guarantee a spot in the course.
Waitlist requests are processed in order they are
received.
For HDP courses with special enrollment requirements,
please contact the HDP department.

HDP 111 Course Description: This course will examine
the human evolutionary past to inform our understanding
of the biological, cognitive, socio-cultural aspects of
growth and change across the lifespan. Lectures and
readings will draw from diverse fields to situate our
understanding of human development within its broader
evolutionary context. Areas of focus will include but
are not limited to human longevity, biology of growth,
theory of mind, and social and biological development
in cross-species comparison.
