The class will cover the basic science of climate
change, a discussion of possible solutions, the
relation to capitalism, the importance of journalism,
the basis of skepticism, and a range of psychological
topics. This is a small class with a mostly flipped
format: class time will mostly be taken up by
discussion, and students will make presentations and do
substantial amounts of writing. To be considered to
