Students will study the cognitive faculties that govern
our ability to read for comprehension, along with the
opportunities and challenges they create for writers.
By reading and discussing primary research, and through
feedback on their own writing, students will learn to
apply psychological science to the writing activities
of psychological scientists (scientific reports:
literature reviews: grant proposals: communication with
colleagues and students: and writing for the general
public).
