PREREQUISITES:
Prerequisites are strictly enforced for all Math
courses. For more information, please refer to the
UCSD Course Catalog.
MATH PLACEMENT EXAM:
Entering students must take the Math Placement Exam
(MPE) prior to registration unless they have one of the
following: appropriate score on an AP calculus AB or BC
exam:appropriate score on the SAT II Math Level 2 exam:
appropriate score on the IB Higher Level Math exam:
credit by means of a foreign exam (e.g. GCE):
transferable college credit in Calculus.
Please note: Transferable pre-calculus courses DO NOT
satisfy any UCSD math course prerequisites.

MATLAB COURSES:

Textbook Information

Effective Fall 2016, Math 20F has been renumbered
as Math 18. Math 18 A00, B00 and C00 will have midterms
on Wednesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 28
at 8:00-9:20pm. The final exam for lectures A00, B00
and C00 will be Saturday, March 17 at 11:30am-2:30pm.
